## Measured Results
- Tested on 24 real noisy recordings from the Microsoft DNS Challenge test set, with no hand edits. All of them, with scores, are at https://erasenoise.com/noise-removal-examples.
- Average DNSMOS background score (1 to 5): 2.45 to 4.13.
- Average DNSMOS overall quality (1 to 5): 2.14 to 3.18.
- Average NISQA voice naturalness (1 to 5): 1.98 to 3.90.
- Clear gains: car, baby, dog barking, kitchen, street, door, eating chips, breathing, dishwasher, air conditioner, mouse clicks, chair, munching, traffic, utensils, scrubbing, distant fan.

## Where It Does Badly
- Little change: keyboard typing, running water, yelling. Keystrokes on top of a word can stay audible.
- Other people shouting or laughing near the speaker are speech too; the noise drops, but the voice can sound less natural.
- Loud machine noise and a car close to the microphone drop, but in the fan, copier, and car-close-by samples the voice ended near 3 out of 5 for naturalness.
- It does not separate a vocal from an instrumental, rebuild clipped or distorted words, or clean a live call.
