In the mouse clicks recording, overall quality went from 3.13 to 3.43, background from 3.94 to 4.22, and naturalness from 2.72 to 4.04. Keyboard typing, a weaker case, is next to it so you can hear the difference. Scores are DNSMOS and NISQA predictions on a 1–5 scale for real mouse-click and related desk recordings from the Microsoft DNS Challenge test set, processed with no hand edits.
A click is very short and sharp. Clicks drop well, especially between words.
A screen-recorded tutorial or a stream. The clicks drop and the narration stays natural.
Hear the recordingRapid clicking in a game is many short clicks in a row. We tested ordinary clicks, not a gaming burst, so check a busy stretch in the preview.
Typing on top of words is a weak case: in our sample overall quality barely moved, 2.63 to 2.70.
Read the keyboard noise guideA tutorial can have hundreds of clicks. Cutting them out is slower than the recording.
Upload the file once and the clicks are lowered.
A screen recording comes back as MP4 with the same frames.
Nothing is cut, so the narration stays in sync with the cursor.
Listen to the busiest stretch of clicking.
A click that lands on a consonant can leave a trace. Check one in the preview.
If the recording also has typing over words, that part improves less.
Clicks are very short, so the choice depends on how many there are.
| Option | Works best when | Falls short when |
|---|---|---|
| EraseNoise | Clicks run through a whole tutorial or VOD | Heavy typing sits on top of the words |
| Audacity Noise Reduction | Rarely: a click is too short to profile | The clicks come at random |
| Cutting in an editor | A few clicks fall between sentences in audio-only work | Cutting would desync the cursor on screen |
| A quieter mouse | You record tutorials every week | The recording is already done |
Upload the tutorial, VOD, or demo as exported, up to 2 GB.
A narration track recorded next to the mouse downloads as WAV.
A screen recording or a stream VOD downloads as MP4 with the same picture.
Choose the audio or video file where mouse clicks sit behind the voice.
Play the busiest stretch of clicking, original and cleaned, without an account.
Process the full recording only if the clicks are lower and the narration still sounds natural.
The mic is next to the mouse. Clean the narration and keep the screen.
Every click is on the mic. Clean the saved VOD before you post it.
Someone clicked through slides with the mic on. Clean the saved call.
Use this page for mouse clicks. Typing and other desk noise have their own pages.

Upload the screen recording or stream at the top of the page and play the free 30-second preview against the original. Download the full file only if the clicks are lower and the voice still sounds natural.

Less well. Keystrokes between words drop, but typing on top of words is a weak case: in our sample overall quality barely moved, 2.63 to 2.70.
No, only from a saved VOD or recording. While you stream, use the noise filter in OBS, Discord, or your call app.
